Corporate video has become increasingly common over the last ten to fifteen years. Recruitment videos, company culture videos and customer testimonials have become a great asset in the search to grow a business. Producing corporate videos is in many ways more difficult than other industries. While retail brand videos focus on products, many corporate video productions must connect to an audience in more creative ways.
A great corporate video first looks at the overall marketing strategy of the company. Who are it’s clients and what products or services do they provide? What are the video marketing goals they hope to accomplish with the video? What kind of video content will best reach their target audience?
The umbrella of corporate video projects is an expansive one. Branded content, recruiting, live action, product videos, testimonials/case studies, interviews and profiles, among other services. All are at play when working with our corporate partners. So why do we set “corporate videos” apart? The main reason is that many companies do not know what kind of video they need when they come to us. By developing with them we can serve as their creative partners and produce the video that best suits their needs.
Back in 2007, ASL Productions entered the video industry primarily as a video production company who worked with corporate partners. Along the way, we’ve worked with other creative agencies, and we’ve also handled the creative load on our own. We’ve seen first hand what is required to set us apart from the field.
Examples of Corporate Videos
The production processes followed in corporate projects often require being flexible and a fine eye for detail. ASL’s producers are well-versed in such projects. Many offices cannot afford to stop down so the production company can come in to film. Whatever the restrictions a company many have, it is our job to work around them while providing a high quality video.
We are not just a team of creatives and video producers, but professionals who understand corporate interests. We work often with those who have not been on camera before and we know how video works. It’s not just about the end product, but also how everyone involved feels throughout the process. With corporate videos especially, we work to make every employee comfortable before, during and after each shoot.
